Party Builds for Task Bar of Ragnalis

Build around three seats, not a collection

Task Bar of Ragnalis fields a party of three in an idle auto-battle loop with frontline and backline positions. You are not micromanaging combos. You are deciding which three kits receive gear across eight equipment slots, which duplicates feed the nine-copy tier-up path, and which seat is allowed to stay weak for a while.

Official free classes to plan with:

• Templar Knight — Sigil frontline defender
• Priest — Prayer recovery and rescue
• Witch — Full Cast backline damage
• Gunner — ranged mark-and-eliminate damage

Paid options: Pirate and Overlord via Pirate & Overlord.

Known facts only: F2P Steam release July 30, 2026 by Jagernaut Games; automatic combat; random skills; offline rewards; Market delayed. No Task Bar Hero cube or rune systems.

The default template: Clear / Survive / Flex

Seat 1 — Clearer (usually backline)

Job: finish waves so chests keep opening while you work.

• Put your best weapons and cards here first
• Prioritize skill rolls that support steady auto-damage
• Feed stack copies into this seat until tiers actually climb

Default free clearers: Witch (Full Cast) or Gunner (mark/eliminate). Pick whichever has better legal gear today. Role context: Tier List.

Seat 2 — Survival anchor (often frontline)

Job: stop wipe loops that cancel AFK progress.

• Templar Knight is the natural Sigil frontliner
• Priest can share or take this job when Prayer rescue matters more than raw armor fantasy
• Upgrade second, after the clearer can farm

Seat 3 — Flex

Job: absorb leftover class-locked drops, add a second damage profile, host Priest if Seat 2 is pure Templar Knight, or host Pirate / Overlord after purchase.

• Do not open Seat 3 early if Seats 1–2 are unfinished
• Prefer a kit that can wear loot already clogging inventory
• Plan seats in the Party Planner

F2P trio examples (free classes only)

Trio A — Balanced starter

Templar Knight + Priest + Witch

Frontline Sigils, Prayer sustain, Full Cast clear. Best default when you want a classic tank/healer/DPS shape. Gear Witch first, then the seat that dies, then polish.

Trio B — Ranged clear focus

Templar Knight + Priest + Gunner

Same sustain core with Gunner’s mark-and-eliminate clearer. Re-test Gunner after the v1.0.1 accuracy fix if your opinion formed on day one.

Trio C — Double damage, thinner sustain

Templar Knight + Witch + Gunner

High clear potential; weaker rescue. Use when maps allow aggression and you are actively stacking defensive pieces on Templar Knight.

Trio D — Delayed third seat

Witch (or Gunner) + Templar Knight + empty/light Seat 3

Valid when inventory and gold cannot support three real kits. Fill Seat 3 with Priest once stacks exist, or with whichever free class keeps eating locked drops.

New players should still complete How to Play and skim the Classes hub. Remember the Settings Reset button starts the character over—it is not a party respec.

DLC-aware party variants

Pirate flex

Keep a free clearer farming. Learn Pirate locks. Swap Pirate into Flex or Clearer only when Pirate has real nine-copy lines. Purchase context: Pirate & Overlord, class page: Pirate.

Overlord flex

Same discipline for the OVERLOAD / Overlord line. Page: Overlord. Use it to solve a seat problem—not to paper over soft early damage or a stuck map.

Dual-DLC three

Example shapes after both purchases:

• Templar Knight + Pirate + Overlord
• Priest + Pirate + Witch
• Gunner + Pirate + Overlord

Every dual-DLC team still needs Clear / Survive / Flex logic. Two paid names with no stack plan is cosplay.

Gear rules that make builds work

• Class locks first: never stack an item your seats cannot wear
• Random skills second: invest in rolls that match the seat job (Random Skills)
• Nine-copy tiers third: builds fail when duplicates are sold for panic gold (Items, Tier Up)
• Eight slots fourth: fill legal slots before chasing vanity
• Storage last: buy bag space only after you know which lines deserve to live
• Patches always: v1.0.2 chest/EXP/stuck fixes can matter more than rearranging seats—Patch Notes

Example check-in routine

1. Look at the clearer: did Witch or Gunner tiers improve?
2. Look at deaths: does Templar Knight or Priest need the next piece?
3. Look at inventory: is Seat 3 justified by locked piles or DLC?
4. Spend a few minutes stacking toward nine copies
5. Leave the client running; offline rewards help, but a closed farm does not

• Three overlapping glass cannons with no Templar Knight or Priest plan
• Equal gearing that keeps every seat mediocre
• Buying DLC mid-panic because Wave 2 feels hard
• Copying Task Bar Hero party folklore
• Ignoring cards while only upgrading weapons
• Resetting the account to “fix” a bad party instead of restacking

Keep builds patch-aware

Jagernaut can change drop rates or class feel after launch. A good party build is a habit: clearer first, survival second, flex when justified, stacks always counted. If a patch shifts which free kit clears best, reuse the seat framework instead of throwing the template away.

Lock your three jobs with the four free names first. Add Pirate or Overlord only when a seat problem is real. Let AFK time do the grinding.
